Overall responsibility to manage all front office activities for a multispecialty physician group practice in institutional settings, including scheduling of providers, tracking of patient encounters and follow-up requirements, and utilization of relevant aspects of the computer based practice management system. Analyze profitability of all clinical programs, both by provider and facility. Develop action plans for providers and facilities with suboptimal profitability, and work with clinical management staff to implement corrective action. Manage the recruitment process for providers, ensuring that staffing levels sufficient to fill provider needs are maintained at all times. Participate in new business development activities. Manage a staff of approximately four front-office employees. Requires Bachelors degree in business administration or health care management related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience researching, assessing, and forecasting financial and administrative aspects of a multispecialty health care services organization. Full term of experience must include providing recommendations regarding managing specialists, physicians, and nurses and gathering raw data on medical providers, patients and medical facilities to assess resource distribution utilizing applicable public health laws such as HIPAA.
