The Service Line Director incorporates the elements of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Engagement into the oversight the specified areas. In partnership with the Physician Leaders in each area ensures implementation of strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Uses CPI methodology to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change. Using paired accountability with the Physician Department Director and faculty leaders, this position provides leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the organization and for the individual departments/divisions. Includes value stream work across all sites of care in the organization and the region; works closely with site of care directors, as well as with administrative support and clinical managers. Collaborates closely with the UW Department Directors to ensure financial resources at CHRMC and UW are available and used appropriately, and that recruitment and academic components of the division are supported.
