POSITION REQUIREMENTS Works with hospital departments to determine education support needs. Provides curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, research and publication assistance. Facilitates, implements, and oversees employee orientation processes reflecting current healthcare trends and best practices. Assists with the input, development, and oversight of computer-based education delivery and tracking systems. Provides educational support for simulation labs, skills labs, and student clinical rotations. Facilitates, implements, and oversees departmental and hospital-wide change management projects. Participates in departmental and hospital education programs, conferences, symposiums, lectures, and in-services. Provides research-based information and input related to department and hospital initiatives, programs, and practices. Evaluates and reports project and program outcomes. Cross trains within the department as needed.Minimum Requirements:Educational Requirements:Bachelors in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or other healthcare related fieldMasters prepared in an applicable field or enrollment in a Masters program within six months from hire.Experience Requirements: Five years experience with teaching, implementing or participating in hospital initiativesFive years experience project management with emphasis on healthcare programsThree years experience in large group facilitation with Facilitation Certification preferredThree years experience with public speaking to large groupsLicense/Registration/Certification:AZ Nursing License, or current licensure in a compact state; Current BLS.
