Due to growth, University Physicians, the Faculty Practice of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi has an opportunity for a Director of Ambulatory Operations.
The person selected for this position will assume responsibilities for operational performance for one of our Ambulatory Operations Groups. The Director of Ambulatory Operations is responsible for all aspects of the physician practices including; clinical operations, front-end revenue cycle processes, physician scheduling, staffing, process improvement, implementation of technology initiatives and relationship building.The ideal candidate will possess these minimum qualifications: Proven success in leadership, customer service and physician relationships Knowledge of physician payor contracts, coding, billing, and point of service collections Excellent analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills College degree required Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women´s Health with large group experience highly desired Academic Medical Center experience a big plus
