Employment Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Seasoned HR professional with minimum 5 years direct experience in RECRUITMENT, COMPENSATION, and LABOR RELATIONS in a hospital setting. Must have minimum of 3 years successful experience as supervisor or manager in HR department. Exempt position with oversight of 2 positions. Responsible for developing recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract and to fill specific job openings. Responsible for the compensation program, conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Acts as a resource for resolving employee relation problems/concerns. Coordinates disciplinary process by assisting management in investigating and preparing documentation to counsel employees for unsatisfactory performance or non-adherence to hospital/department policy or procedure. Assists with new Employee Orientation and periodically reviews content and effectiveness with Education Manager. Assists in the preparation of programs and documentation for The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other business-related profession from four-year college or university required. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred. Computer Skills:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
