Hebrew SeniorLife also offers services to the community, including Adult Day Health programs and outpatient clinics in audiology, exercise, memory disorders, osteoporosis screening, and rehabilitation.HSL´s NewBridge on the Charles, our premier multigenerational continuing care retirement community in Dedham, consists of 256 independent living units, 50 assisted living units, 41 memory support assisted living units, and a 268-bed Health Care Center, which offers long-term and sub-acute care. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef of Independent Living at NewBridge on the Charles located in Dedham, Massachusetts; this key position is responsible for:- Daily preparation of food items in pantry, grill and /or other stations in the restaurant. - Proper execution and cooking of food being cooked of the menu in accordance with standard set forth by Executive Chef. - Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines. - Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage units. - Ability to read food order slips as well as work under pressure in a fast pace environment. - Must have at least one year of previous cooking experience in an established organization.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) is an equal opportunity employer, and we offer a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package, as well as many opportunities for personal and professional growth.
