Program Analyst- Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at large urban healthcare facilities

The mission of the Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) antimicrobial stewardship program is to foster the judicious use of antimicrobial agents with the hopes of improving quality of patient care, clinical outcome, cost, educate staff, track and impact healthcare acquired pathogens such as antibiotic resistance and C. difficile colitis. The program is also engaging in multi-facility research initiatives relating to antimicrobial stewardship. The candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to set up surveillance systems to track and perform analysis of use of antimicrobials and outcomes related to such use at two large healthcare facilities (Montefiore Medical Center and Weiler Hospital). This individual will assist with interfacing and aggregating health related data from different existing databases. This individual is critical in ensuring that the day to day operational functions of the division´s antimicrobial stewardship program and related study protocols runs smoothly and efficiently.
