Plan, organize, direct, and control the facilities management functions of the hospital, including but not limited to planning, design, construction, alteration, operation, maintenance, and disposal of plant facilities and equipment. Establish goals, objectives, standards of performance, develop and implement operating policies and procedures; interpret policies, standards, regulations, and codes to personnel.Qualifications Education:• Bachelor degree from an accredited school in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent education such as Associate degree and Certified Hospital Facilities Manager.Experience:• Five years experience, preferably in hospital facilities management.• Sufficient previous progressively responsible experience. • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local standards and codes, and requirements of regulatory and accreditation agencies; standard operating procedures for plant operation; budget development, control and direction; personnel management; work standards for skilled personnel; material and equipment suppliers.
