The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Holly Center is seeking a Facility Director. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Facilities Management, this senior level management position is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a 96 bed facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Holly Center is a State residential center within the Developmental Disabilities Administration and is responsible for the provision of rehabilitation services to individuals with intellectual disabilities while working to integrate these consumers into less restrictive settings in the community. This senior level management position oversees an annual operating budget of $18.6 million dollars and manages all aspects of the facilities operations through the direct supervision of professional level staff. * The CEO provides leadership in resolving legal, programmatic and fiscal issues while maintaining compliance with both State and Federal standards. * The CEO coordinates and collaborates with government agencies, legislators, private treatment providers, advocacy organizations and community groups. * Requires a Bachelor´s degree and six years of health or human services administration or professional experience, three years of which was related to services for individuals with developmental disabilities and involved the supervision or management of professional staff. * Experience in facility administration, working knowledge of State and Federal regulations (specifically the provision of active treatment), and expertise in the provision of contemporary services/support to individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred. * A related Master´s degree will substitute for one year of general experience; a Doctorate for two years of general experience.

Our experienced team performs over 150 transplants per year, chiefly for patients with leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas. We offer the full spectrum of transplant types, in inpatient and outpatient settings, to meet an individual patients needs.The Assistant Administrative Director will oversee a 27-bed inpatient, HEPA-filtered transplant unit and a 13-room outpatient transplant unit both of which are in the planning stages of expansion. This role will assist the Administrative Director in creating a patient and family-focused, high-performance, high-commitment work team which supports the mission, vision and credo of the Vanderbilt Clinical Enterprise. Qualified candidates will have a Masters Degree and minimum of eight years proven experience within a healthcare facility, ideally within a multi-specialty physician group practice setting. Applicants must have knowledge of medical practice and clinic management, clinic operational structure systems, policies, procedures and processes.
