Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida, (http://www.um-jmh.org/) has retained Quick Leonard Kieffer to conduct the search for an Assistant Manager, Occupational Health.
JHS is a public, integrated healthcare delivery system known for its quality of care and dedication to the communities it serves. The new Assistant Manager will be charged with aiding in the coordination and growth of an already large occupational health program with more than 30 employees. The responsibilities include staffing, maintaining supplies and services, quality management, maintenance of clinical policy and protocol, data analysis and reporting, and collaboration with Safety, Infection Control, Disability Management and other corporate occupational health and environmental resources. The Assistant Manager must have excellent supervisory skills, with experience in community health, school health, ambulatory care, emergency care or other related field. Registered Nurse, Physicians Assistant or Foreign Medical Doctor license is required, as well as certification in occupational health. They will have served in a large, complex environment, while providing metrics information. Additionally, this person should have experience with surveillance programs, immunization, and disaster management as it relates to occupational health, fit testing, volume physicals and screenings, and drug testing.
