The Johns Hopkins Department of Emergency Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, is expanding its Physician Assistant staff and is thus seeking 3 full time Physician Assistants. The positions are available immediately for emergency medicine -trained, certified PAs seeking to build a career at a world renowned academic center. You will be working directly under some of the leading emergency physicians in the USA, as well as alongside the Emergency Medicine residents in our training program. The Johns Hopkins Emergency Department is a 58,000 visit, full service adult ED, Level I trauma center, and the state pediatric trauma center. Midlevels are responsible for: - Complex, standardized, patient care otherwise be performed by a physician that requires experience and specialized training;- Performing comprehensive history and physical including chief compliant, presenting signs and symptoms, and past medical history and interval history;- Initiating basic life support in response to emergency situations.
