Currently Seattle Children´s has an opening for a Supervisor for Medical Assistants. This position will recruit, train, supervise and evaluate medical assistant support staff; design and manage staffing plans that are cost effective and meet service needs; manage clinic flow start up and control through continuous monitoring and response; and lead/implement performance improvement efforts. Required: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Graduation from an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program - Certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Assn of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - Minimum two (2) years experience performing the duties of a Medical Assistant - Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification for Health Care Providers Preferred: - Supervisory experience in a health care setting or related field - Pediatric experience as a Medical Assistant - Urgent care experience as a Medical Assistant - At least one (1) year coursework at the college levelAt Seattle Children´s, we believe in accountability, respect and teamwork - not only with patients and their families, but also with each other.
