The candidate we select will be able to perform competently most of the cases in a given service/shift.Minimum Requirements: This position requires completion of appropriate Tech school courses, 24 months of experience and Surgical Tech certification or eligibility. Additional Information: This is part-time position rotating between FEL OR and NSC. This position will be Mondays and at least 1-2 other days/week. FEL OR does ENT/Plastics and some general surgery. NSC handles orthopedic surgery and plastics. Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday; 8hrs per week. The Technologist I selects, plans, organizes and effectively utilize required instrumentation when assisting in the scrub role. The Surgical Technologist I work as a member of the surgical team and is responsible to assist the surgeon and circulating nurse with assigned duties.The Surgical Technologist II possesses advanced knowledge of aseptic/surgical technique and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure. The Technologist II serves as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrates working knowledge of specialty equipment/instrumentation.
