We currently have opportunities for part time and per diem Respiratory Care Practitioners who will provide treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Responsibilities will include delivering and assessing responses to ordered therapy per plan of care including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures, utilizing various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment such as masks, tents and incubators, administering prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosol drugs, measures ventilatory volumes, pressures and blood gas analysis, evaluating records and reports on patients response to treatment and progress towards identified goals, instructing and educating patients and families, responding to emergency team calls, as well as, orienting and mentoring new staff members.Qualified candidates will possess:• Nevada Respiratory Therapy License• Respiratory Therapy Technician Certification or Respiratory Therapist Registration• Graduate Degree from an accredited school of respiratory care• Basic Life Support Certification• Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification• Previous management experience in critical care, emergency room or pediatricsAt Sunrise Health we’re guided by a simple yet powerful motto, “Another Sunrise.
