Radiologic Technologist II -Charge needed.

Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations for the purpose diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all duties related to imaging patient care; clerical, file room, film displays, physician assistance, patient transportation, jacket locating, general housekeeping and team member communications. Participates in the departmental Quality Management activities and makes positive contributions to the goals of the department and Bayfront. Participates in call and call back on a rotational basis with other radiologic technologists. Performs charge tech duties on a consistent basis. Supervises transporters and clerical staff.Job Requirements Must have High school diploma and graduate of AMA approved program for Radiologic Technology. 2 year degree in Radiologic Sciences is preferred. Must have ARRT registration and current Florida license and BLS. Must have 6 months clinical experience. 1 yr clinical experience is preferred. Must have Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills, Problem Solving skills and excellent Customer Service skills.

1. Bachelor of Science degree from a regionally accredited institution [required]; Master´s degree [preferred]. 2. Minimum of two years full-time experience in the professional discipline. 3. Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.

We seek an experienced director of radiology/imaging to provide leadership in developing services and quality, and manage all supervisory, technical and secretarial staffs for the modalities in the division. Reporting to the hospital’s vice president, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ clinical experience in radiology/imaging with at least 5-7 years in progressive management roles. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills with focus on performance/quality improvement. Through his/her experience, the candidate should have evidenced a strong ability to:• Develop a strategy for excellence for the modalities through workforce management, which includes efficient scheduling of staff and patients with an emphasis on high-quality patient care and enhanced customer/employee satisfaction• Provide financial management, including budget preparation, revenue and expense projecting and tracking• Develop and maintain key operational, service, and quality indicators as well as associated action plans• Develop systems for ensuring a high degree of quality (including competency) and process accuracy for the division• Monitor daily departmental operations to ensure compliance with state, federal and regulatory agencies standards• Provide strong analytical skills with attention to performance improvement initiatives• Develop leadership among direct reports and front-line staff• Keep abreast of new developments in the field, making a strong clinical business case for recommendations for technical improvements/acquisitions as needed and be able to implement plans for installation of new technologies• Work and collaborate with a variety of staff, patients, executives and physiciansEducation requirements for the candidate include graduation from a two-year course in radiologic technology and a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or a related field is strongly preferred. Additionally, certifications by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety and the American Registry of Radiologic Technology are required. Position Summary: Provide technical support for radiology procedures performed on patients in Limb Center. Assists physicians in Limb Center with full range of diagnostic radiographic exams, office procedures and visits. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospitals philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.Required Education/Training: Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
