POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting its Heart & Lung Institute, the only stand-alone lung transplant center in the Nation. The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms dedicated to a patient population from pediatric to adult, providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers, AICDs and Electrophysiology procedures. JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Radiation Tech to join our team! Will operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures; Performs duties within multiple specialty areas. Detailed knowledge of supplies, procedures, and aseptic technique. Ability to set up trays and perform equipment troubleshooting on a regular basis. 24 CEU Biannually. REQUIREMENTS: Performs radiologic procedures not requiring constant supervision. Performs scheduling and workflow coordination. Requires 36 CEU bianually.Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist ProgramCertificate of medical imaging modality. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). AZ state License Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE), BCLSThree years radiology experience preferred.
