* The Surgical Technologist is responsible for supporting Registered Nurses and Surgeons in the Operating Room. * They handle sterile instruments during surgical procedures. * They monitor their sterile field and are responsible for the care and maintenance of surgical instruments, supplies and equipment. * Working as part of the OR team is essential. * Responsible for picking cases and room turn-over after procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: � High School Graduate or equivalent Special Training (including license): � Graduate from an approved program for OR Technicians or equivalent. � Current BLS certification Experience: (minimum, plus desired): � 2 years ORT experience preferred

Our state-of-the-art surgical center is seeking Surgical Technicians with previous OR scrub tech experience or First Assist to join our dynamic Team. Ability to communicate effectively, be attentive and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Ability to operate sterilizers, microscopes and surgical equipment related to surgical specialties (fiberoptic equipment, electrocautery unit, suction machines, orthopedic tourniquets, air powered equipment, etc.) required. Ability to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to meeting customer needs. Education and Experience: High school diploma or the equivalent.
