Become a part of Bakersfield Memorial Hospital POSITION REQUIREMENTS Operates Ultra Sound equipment to provide and document accurate and quality sonographic studies of normal and abnormal anatomy. Performs Ultra Sound exams to include Abdominal, OB, GYN, Small Parts, Prostates and Carotid Duplex Scans.Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school. CRT California Certification and maintenanceARRT Certification PreferredCRT Educational requirements for certification must be maintainedARRT Educational requirements (if applicable) for certification must be maintainedARDMS Preferred (must be certified within 2 years of hire date if not ARDMS licensed)CPR Certification and maintenanceLanguage Skills: Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the hospital. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and how to draw and interpret a bar graph.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
