Medical Laboratory Opportunities with Advocate Health Care ACL Labs
Under general supervision, performs diagnostic testing and related responsibilities. Demonstrate understanding of scientific theories and techniques of procedures performed.Accountabilities:1. Performs moderately and/or highly complex analyses with accuracy and precision, understanding basic and complex principles and methodology of Cytogenetics 2. Performs, monitors, and evaluates quality control, applies the principles of quality control when reporting tests.3. Identification and resolution of technical problems related to laboratory methodology, instrumentation, and procedures under direction of the Laboratory Manager.4. Correlates various clinical laboratory test results, applies these results to clinical conditions and recognizes accepted normal ranges.5. Participates in development and education6. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies as required by the department.7. This associate must be able to work and 8 hour shifts within the hours of 12noon and 11pm and is able to work occasional weekends.
