Churchill RHA Inc. is located at a cross-cultural crossroads on the shores of Hudson Bay in the Polar Bear Capital of the World and the home of Wapusk National Park.
The RHA serves the residents of Churchill and communities of the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the Dietitian will provide care in accordance with the Acts and Bylaws of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba. Comply with the RHA Act and Regulations and all other relevant laws and regulations, and with any standards, directives, policies or rules prescribed by the Authority, in the course of performing the obligations of the contact.Keep accurate and up to date records in a manner satisfactory to the Churchill RHA Inc.Complete evaluation forms for each service provided where requested.Will not disclose any confidential information unless prior authority is received from the Authority or it is in compliance with the Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act of Manitoba and Personal Health Information Act of Manitoba.Submit reports and statistical information as may be required by the Authority. Maintain continuing education standards as specified by the Continuing Competence Program of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba.QUALIFICATIONS:Must have completed the Manitoba Partnership Dietetic Education Program and be registered with the College Dietitians of Manitoba. One or two years experience in the field would be an asset.This contract position will provide dietitian services on a monthly basis to the residents of the Churchill area and where mutually agreed to from time to time. Salary is negotiable, air flights into Churchill and return along with subsidized furnished apartment will be provided.
