Community-PhysiotherapistThe Community Physiotherapist is responsible for the delivery of care provided to clients in the home, school, clinic/institution, and/or workplace setting. The referral may be generated from a variety of sources including government agencies, employers, third party and private payers.Full-Time and Part-Time Physiotherapists with any of the following skills:~ABI~Pediatrics/Child/Youth/School~Adult Specifications/ Qualifications~University degree (or Equivalent)~License to practice with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario~Education and experience specific to the Client population (e.g., pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology etc.)~Community experience an asset~ADP Authorizer status an asset~Commitment to service excellence including continuing education and continuous quality improvement.~Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Clients and colleagues.~Demonstrated understanding and ability to integrate Client-centered care into clinical practice.~Ability to function within an interdisciplinary team.~Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a variety of situations, and with various individuals or groups. ~Demonstrated ability to be flexible.~Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and critical thinking. ~Able to generate new solutions and develop creative improvements.~Demonstrated awareness of Clients rights.Preference is given to professionals who meet our minimum requirements and who possess:A minimum of two years of clinical practice.Relevant community experience.Membership in applicable professional association.Education and experience specific to the Client population (e.g., palliative care, pediatrics, cardiorespiratory, orthopedics, neurology).ADP authorization status
