The Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, associated with John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital and a Commission on Cancer Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Oncology Physician Assistant. We are in the process of building a new 43,000 sq ft facility which will include medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion center, research and multiple programs to support the cancer patient and their caregiver through the continuum of care.Essential Responsibilities:The Oncology PA is a professional who assumes responsibility for providing patient care in coordination with 4 medical oncologists and another medical oncology PA. The Oncology PA works in tandem with the physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient care, provides clinical coverage for urgent, non-scheduled, and add-on patients and when the medical oncologist is unavailable. Performs invasive procedures as required.Education:Candidates must be a certified Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Georgia or eligible. Must have at least one year of experience and preferable to have previous oncology experience.John D.
