The Breast Health Navigator (RN) will coordinate services for Breast Imaging Patients to ensure guidance through the diagnostic and surgical process. Qualifications CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS•Must be registered as a radiologic technologist with mammography experience and a current IEMA license.•Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.•Current CPR/AHA•Coordinate the diagnostic imaging breast process.•Schedule all diagnostic call backs, biopsy procedures including, stereotactic, US guided and MR guided, sentinel node.•Participate / assist with biopsy procedures at the 2 diagnostic locations.•Monitor pain levels for biopsy / localization patients.•Visit mastectomy patients before discharge from hospital.•Coordinate breast conference at least monthly and adjust as volumes increase.•Follow-up with all biopsy patients via a phone call to check on status.•Perform and teach clinical breast exam.•Utilizes ´MRS´ system for tracking of pathology reports and patients follow-up status.

We seek an experienced director of radiology/imaging to provide leadership in developing services and quality, and manage all supervisory, technical and secretarial staffs for the modalities in the division. Reporting to the hospital’s vice president, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ clinical experience in radiology/imaging with at least 5-7 years in progressive management roles. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills with focus on performance/quality improvement.
