As we do so, we are attracting highly credentialed, specialized, and experienced clinical staff to help lead our efforts.Job Description Clinical Coordinator -- Echo Sonography / Full Time/ 40 hrs wk/ Days / (REQ # 1471)(Job Number: 60475324) New Hampshire-Northeast New Hampshire-Parkland Medical Center - DerrySchedule: Full-time Description JOB TITLE:Echo Clinical Coordinator SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *1. *Assists in the coordination and supervision of Echo Cardiography Services.2. *Participates in the development and implementation of orientation and inservice training programs for Echo Cardiography service staff.3. *Responsible for ordering supplies in area of responsibility with oversight by Department Director.4. *Performs accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study. 5. *Assists the physician as needed during procedures and monitors physiological parameters during procedures.6. *Performs job to ensure quality care is provided within defined area of accountability.7. *Dysrhythmia recognition.8. *Compiles activity report on weekly and monthly data for submission to Department Director at designated dates.9. *Maintains lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning by inspecting for breakdown, troubleshooting and communicating with appropriate repair persons.10. *Participates actively in continuing education and assists in education of new staff as requested.11. *Communicates with patients, team members & management in an accurate, timely manner.12. *Applies critical thinking knowledge skills and considers alternatives.13. *Develops & maintains human care relationships.14. *Manages self and resources effectively.15. *Incorporates teaching in delivery of care.16. *Applies Knowledge integration skills for the neonate through older adult patient populations served within the Echo Cardiography area. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATIONRequired - High School DiplomaPreferred - High School Diploma, Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health or Nursing. EXPERIENCERequired - Two years experience in Adult and Pediatric Echo, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac SonographerPreferred - Five years echo experience, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
