Echocardiogram Technologist (per diem)RCS/RDCSBeth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattans Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel Medical Center is comprised of three facilities:Petrie Division: First Avenue at 16th Street in ManhattanPhillips Ambulatory Care Center: Union Square East in ManhattanKings Highway Division: in Brooklyn We are now seeking per diem Echocardiogram Technologists to assist in the Echo Lab on an as-needed basis for any/all shifts. These newly created positions are designed to allow for stronger support in this busy Echo Lab and will focus on 2D, M-Mode and Doppler Echocardiography with video and hard copy records, performing/recording exercise and pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms and be responsible for all necessary paperwork and documentation for each patient. Minimum Requirements: Associates DegreeGraduate of a CAAHEP accredited program for Cardiovascular UltrasoundRCS/RDCS certification or eligibility required3+ years experience in an Echocardiography LabProficiency in MS Word and MS ExcelExcellent communication (written and verbal), customer service and organizational skillsAdditional Information:Extensive benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage; 403(b) retirement and tuition reimbursement programs and much, much more.
