He/She will complete three units of Clinical Pastoral Education. The Resident Chaplain abides by the specifications and stipulations of the Norton Healthcare Employee Handbook, CPE Student Handbook, job description, and job requirements of the specific work area assigned. Works throughout the system. Exposure to infectious diseases, body fluids and hazardous waste is likely and requires precautions. Works day, night, weekend, and holiday hours. Maximal emotional exertion due to intense involvement with patients, family and staff who are dealing with ultimate issues.
