In addition to successfully integrating this digital technology into our screening process, we will soon be able to offer Cervista HPV testing through our Molecular Pathology department which will allow us to utilize the latest technology available. We also screen non-gynecologic samples that can include Cellient prepared cell blocks and perform adequacy checks on FNA samples collected at the Intermountain Medical Center. On a regular basis, we meet with the Cytopathology Medical Director and discuss interesting and educational cases at our multi-headed microscope in the Cytopathology Education Center. Cytotechnologists perform highly complex testing procedures required for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and evaluate specimens for referral to a pathologist. Must be highly detail oriented with excellent diagnostic skills. We are looking for an individual who has the capability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with all members of the Cytopathology team.Minimum Requirements:- Must be ASCP certified as a Cytologist or registry eligible- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Two years of Cytotechnologist experiencePreferred Qualifications:- Candidates with ThinPrep certification with imager training preferred - Experience with Fine Needle Aspirations preferred
