Currently, our team is seeking:Physical Therapy Assistant - Home HealthA member of the home health team who, under the supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist and Director of Nursing, assists in the delivery or physical therapy modalities designed to restore the patient to his/her maximum level of functioning.Job Requirements The qualified candidate must have the following:* Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.* Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license.* Vehicle with current insurance coverage.* At least 1 yr experience in a healthcare setting.* Strong Interpersonal skills and excellent Customer Service skills.* Sincere desire to work with the aged and infirm.* Understanding of Psychosocial needs of patients in this age group.* Ability to supervise and instruct non-professional personnel and family members.* Possess sound judgment and be levelheaded in emergency situations.* An acute sense of responsibility.* Be well-groomed, courteous, tactful, patient and kind.* Spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm.
