This SLP will provide evaluation and treatment of laryngology patients, swallowing disorders patients and patients who have undergone radical mouth throat and jaw surgery and patients with voice disorders, including but not limited to dysphonia, hoarseness, dysphagia and spastic dysphonia. In addition to providing patient care, this therapist will work on program development, process improvement and quality improvement responsibilities for Otolaryngology patients across the continuum of care. This position provides opportunities to work with seven skilled Physicians as well as Physician Assistants, Nursing and other disciplines. This is a teaching department with 5 residents and a Fellow. The department is team oriented and a willing to help each other. We value team communication, motivated to reach to a higher level of care for patients. Qualifications: -Masters degree in speech/language pathology. -Current Arizona licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. -Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or academic equivalent with clinical fellowship year pending completion. -Completed clinical fellowship strongly preferred.-Basic life support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. -Voice experience and/or training strongly desired.
