Physician Assistant needed for full time Emergency Medicine position in Santa Barbara County. Shift times will be from 3PM to 11PM, five days a week, Thursday through Monday with equitable scheduling for all employees. We are looking for a part time (per diem) provider with at least one year of emergency department experience or three years of primary care experience. This is an employee position paying $60 per hour, plus A rated malpractice insurance with no tail obligation.Lompoc Valley Medical Center is a busy eight bed emergency department located inside a 60 bed JCAHO accredited hospital, with a new community hospital scheduled to open in the spring of 2010. The community is conveniently located on scenic Pacific Coast Highway just 55 miles northwest of the city of Santa Barbara. A leisurely tour of wine country, which includes approximately 30 wineries in the Santa Rita Hills and Santa Ynez Valley, will take you over peaceful country roads through picturesque farmland dotted with thousands of acres of lush green vineyards and beaches.
