Speech Language Pathologist IITemple, TX You will plan and administer speech-language pathology services including evaluation, treatment and education program for patients to restore speech, language and swallowing abilities. You will also provide supervision to Speech-Language Pathologist Is and students. Requires a Masters degree. You must be a licensed Speech Pathologist in the state of TX. You must have completed the Clinical Fellowship Year in accordance with ASHA guidelines. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills will be necessary. You must have demonstrated competency in assigned areas and advanced expertise in at least two clinical specialties consistent with ASHA. You will be required to complete designated competency assessments and peer review, as well as maintain continuing education applicable to core professional responsibilities. Harrison Medical Center, located in Bremerton, WA and only a short ferry ride from Seattle, is seeking highly motivated, quality conscious Speech Pathologist to deliver world-class care to our patients.Harrison Rehabilitation Services combines state-of-the-art tools with highly trained practitioners. In addition to the hospital, three clinics provide outpatient treatment for orthopedics, sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation, hand therapy, pain management, and work conditioning. Our pediatric rehabilitation practice includes the treatment of developmental delays, feeding/swallowing disorders, sensory processing disorders, orthopedic injuries and pediatric sports medicine. Harrison also offers aquatic therapy using a therapy pool with hydraulic depth control, integrated treadmill, resistive current, and underwater video monitoring.Our multidisciplinary environment and mentoring atmosphere, offer the opportunity for professional growth, while our sense of team play and one-on-one patient care provide personal satisfaction.
