The Medical Technologist serves as the Supervisor of the Blood Bank and Hematology departments. The Technologist is responsible for establishing and enforcing safe work practices and procedures in the Blood Bank and Hematology departments and throughout Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&MLS). The Technologist is responsible for the entire Clinical Pathology department on weekends and holidays, as assigned. Develops, coordinates, and implements plans for training subordinates.
