Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital is currently seeking candidates for a Echocard Technologist II position
This position will perform quality echocardiographic studies on adult and pediatric patients with a customer satisfaction focus. These procedures include: M-Mode, 2-D, Color Doppler, Transesophageal (including intra-operatively) and Stress Echo. The Echocard Technologist II must exhibit a high degree of cardiovascular ultrasound knowledge and skills related to cardiac procedures. Ability to work independently and make decisions to provide physicians with diagnostic scans.-Must be able to perform Echocardiograms and Echo Dopplers, TEEs, Stress Echoes and Pediatric Echoes. -Experience with digital sonogram equipment -Registration status with American Society Cardiovascular Profession (ASCP). -Three years experience is required for adult and pediatric echoes. -Proficiency in Doppler studies. -Proficiencies with TEEs and Stress Echoes. -Registered status required. -Maintenance of 40 educational credits per year as required by American -Society of Cardiovascular Profession. -Current CPR certification is required. -High proficiency in math skills.
