American Hospital is currently recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work as a civilian contractor at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas.

The contract year goes till September 14, 2010 and has the option to renew in one year terms, 2 times taking the full contract till September 14, 2012. The contractor will be responsible for and apply social work procedures and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of psychological/psychiatric disorders. Candidate will provide individual, family & group psychotherapy, as well as couples therapy. Contractor will also be responsible for child, adolescent & family social work services.Schedule- Monday -Friday 7:30am to 4:30pmCandidate will need a minimum of 2 years experience in the last 5 years in the independent practice of clinical social work. Candidate must hold a Masters in Social WorkMust have current BLS certification.A current unrestricted license from any one of the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands is acceptable.

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 - 4:30American Hospital Service Group, Inc (AHSG, Inc.) was founded in 1992 and is a leading professional staffing organization that provides healthcare contract staffing to US Department of Defense facilities across the continental US, Hawaii and Alaska,AHSG currently seeks a Licensed Psychologist to provide mental health services to the Shaw Air Force Base community near Sumter, South Carolina.* This is a civilian contract position.* Attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours and professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities.* The Post-Deployment Health Reassessment is a DOD mandated program that was developed to help identify and address health concerns that may have emerges since their return from deployments.* Remain knowledgeable in the stressors and health threats common to deploying personnel.* Maintain proficiency in implementation of interventions or programs that may mitigate such threats or adequately treat deployment-related health conditions.* Interview and assess patients regarding post-deployment health concerns.* Assess and treat patients in accordance with DOD regs.* Ensure patients are provided education regarding their individual health concerns.* Provide referrals for specialty care and properly document clinical encounters.Requirements:* Have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program * Shall have completed an APA accredited internship/residency in clinical psychology * Minimum 1 year Post Doctoral experience required.* Must have current BLS certification.* Have and maintain a current license to practice psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Clinical Psychologist @ Altus Air Force Base / Part time

Clinical Psychologist, must be APA accredited doctorate and internship with 2 years minimum in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. Responsible for individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy, alcohol and drug treatment evals.

This job is providing psychotherapy to our soldiers and their families. * Full time civilian position. * It includes individual, group, couples and family therapy.
