Responsibilities include support of the Neurosurgery Division of the Department of Surgery. Duties include first assisting at surgery, inpatient care, history and physicals. Candidates must possess or be eligible for NYS Licensure as a Physician Assistant. Previous Neurosurgical experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train and enthusiastic person. Our very busy primary care practice in St. Johnsville, NY seeks a full-time Physicians Assistant to provide health care services to its pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations. Candidates must possess NYS certification as a Physicians Assistant and have at least two years experience in primary care. St. Johnsville is located on the southern edge of the beautiful Adirondak Mountains in Central New York. The area offers multiple four-season recreational and cultural activities and is easily accessible to the Capital Region of New York as well as Utica and Syracuse. Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital has a Medical Hospitalist opportunity for a Physician Assistant in a unique academic environment. We are a tertiary care, 180-bed hospital and level II trauma center. Bassett is affiliated with Columbia Medical School and is the designated campus for 3rd and 4th year medical students choosing non-urban training and has Internal Medicine and Surgery residency programs. We have a full range of sub-specialty services with an existing Physician Assistant presence on various sub-specialty teams. This Central New York facility draws patients from an eight-county region. The Physician Assistant will work one-to-one with a Board Certified Attending Hospitalist caring for medical inpatients. Candidates must possess NYS certification.
