Our very busy primary care practice in St. Johnsville, NY seeks a full-time Physicians Assistant to provide health care services to its pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations. Candidates must possess NYS certification as a Physicians Assistant and have at least two years experience in primary care. St. Johnsville is located on the southern edge of the beautiful Adirondak Mountains in Central New York. The area offers multiple four-season recreational and cultural activities and is easily accessible to the Capital Region of New York as well as Utica and Syracuse. Bassett Healthcare and affiliates is a network of physicians, providers, hospitals and community health centers in eight counties, covering 5,000 square miles. The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital (doing business as Bassett Healthcare), the foundation for this network, is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown. The hospital maintains a strong academic program and rich tradition as a center for learning through its affiliation with Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and other educational institutions. Around the region, the network provides primary, preventive, and outpatient care at 28 health centers and operates 13 school-based health centers. In addition to MIBH, acute inpatient care is provided at network sites: O´Connor Hospital in Delhi, Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Little Falls Hospital and Tri-Town Regional Hospital in Sidney.
