Borgess – Lee Memorial Hospital (B-LMH) has an excellent on-call (PRN), Speech and Language Pathologist position available.
Under direction of the Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with speech/language/hearing/cognitive disorders. In doing so develops and implements plans of treatment with long and short term goals. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team serving populations from birth to geriatrics. Requirements:Knowledge of Speech Pathology diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic plans of treatment usually acquired through the attainment of a Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from a college/university program (American Speech-Hearing Language Association accredited preferred).Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language from ASHA required.Approximately six to twelve months of on-the-job experience necessary in order to gain an in-depth understanding of Hospital policies, procedures and operations.
