Bridgewell, a private non-profit organization providing services to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities throughout Northeastern Massachusetts, is seeking a dynamic Masters level clinician to join our outpatient services team in Lowell, MA. The successful candidate will provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and outreach services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities in a setting that offers opportunity to do long term treatment. The ideal candidate must have a Master s degree in a related field and be a licensed LMHC or LICSW. We are seeking a clinician with at least 3-5 years of counseling experience who have worked with a variety of clinical populations including those with substance use, dual diagnosis, and early recovery issues; domestic violence and parenting issues; and homelessness. Clinicians trained in DBT skills training and bilingual in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply. Complete diagnostic intakes, treatment plans, goals and objectives, and progress notes for assigned caseload. 2. Provide one-to-one counseling with clients in assigned caseload. 3. Coordinate services with psychiatrist and other clinical treatment team providers. 4. Attend treatment planning meetings for clients in assigned caseload. 5. Participate in scheduled clinical team and clinical supervision meetings. 6. Maintain client records according to regulatory standards. 7. Comply with MBHP and other 3rd party insurers guidelines for Utilization Review/Quality Assurance. 8. Facilitate referrals to other agencies/vendors when appropriate. 9. Other duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience: 1. Masters Degree in social work, psychology, education, or counseling. 2. Massachusetts state license (LMHC, LICSW). 3. Experience working with people with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Required Skills/Knowledge: 1. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2. Must have excellent organizational skills. 3. Must have the ability to focus on and assess clinical needs of clients and design indicated treatment goals and objectives.
