Dermatology Physician AssistantSummaryThe Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) assists in the examinations and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician. The PA functions within the scope of his/her education and training. She/he will work within CareMore´s offices under the guidance of the Dermatologist and will be able to perform certain procedures within the scope of training. This Position will be M-F and she/he will travel to various CareMore Care Centers as needed.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor´s degree.Completion of an accredited physician assistant program.Dermatology PA experience required.Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Dermatology certificate preferred.Skills and Abilities1.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 2.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.3.Ability to write simple correspondence.4.Good organizational skills.5.Ability to reason and carry out instructions.6.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. 7.Knowledge of common fractions and decimals. 8.Ability to calculate medication dosage.
