Summary of Essential Job Duties:Coordinate Ultrasound departmentMakes hiring decisions, develops staffing plans, conducts performance appraisals, issues disciplinary action.Assures technical competency of ultrasound technologists.Responsible for edit the Kronos payroll system.Maintain ACR accreditation.Educational Requirements:Graduate from accredited radiology/ultrasound school.Bachelor degree preferred.License/Certification/Registration Requirements:Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.Current CPR certification.Experience:At least 3 years supervisory experience in a large academic setting.Physical Demands:May be exposed to radiation, blood born pathogens.Must be able to move ultrasound equipment in order to perform portable exams.Lifting and walking required.
