The Edward J. Miller, Sr., Blood Donor Center, an independent collection facility at the hospital, was established in 1990 to support the growing need for blood and blood products at Children’s National Medical Center.
Responsible for managing the direction and supervision of the day-to-day operations of both the technical and administrative functions for the Blood Donor Center. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Medical Technology or equivalent related field of science, or Specialist in Blood Bank certification or RN. MS preferred. 5-7 years of related and progressive experience. One year supervisory experience required.
