POSITION: REHAB SUPERVISOR STATUS: PART TIME LOCATION: LONDON, ONDETAILS OF POSITION Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent is responsible for: Promoting quality client care through staff supervision: observation of direct care provision and care planning, monitoring compliance with service purchaser contractual obligations, provincial regulations, regulatory body standards and Comcare policy and procedures Communicating appropriately per service purchaser contractual agreement: complaints, compliments, incidents, client referral discrepancies and issues Performance management to ensure that direct care providers meet or exceed quality standards of practice as per company policy Providing case management for private clients Participating in the recruitment, hiring, orientation and continuing education opportunities for rehab staff Providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities for Client Service Coordinators and rehab staff Consultation regarding client referrals and providing information to clients regarding services, policies and procedures Comcare Health Services requires each employee to work in compliance with the provision of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and report to the Supervisor any contravention of the Act or regulations, or any hazards they are aware of. Employees must report any work-related injury or illness to the appropriate individual immediately. QUALIFICATIONS: Current license as a PT or OT to practice with the applicable provincial college/professional regulatory agency such as College of Physiotherapy or College of Occupational Therapy Demonstrated knowledge of the current trends and development in the fields of adult and/or child rehabilitation. Membership in the applicable professional association preferred Demonstrated leadership, strong team building, optimum communication and interpersonal skills Ability to foster collaborative working relationships/partnerships with other members of the health care team and community Minimum of three years experience preferably in the community Management/supervisory experience an asset

Community-PhysiotherapistThe Community Physiotherapist is responsible for the delivery of care provided to clients in the home, school, clinic/institution, and/or workplace setting.
