It includes a 25-meter lap pool, a basketball half-court, functional activities area, full weight and exercise room, and a human performance research laboratory, as well as surgery suites and clinical patient rooms. TOSH is one of the country´s premier facilities for orthopedic care. TOSH has its own inpatient facility and the physicians at TOSH perform major surgery, including total knee, shoulder and hip replacements. Many of the cutting-edge techniques and devices used at TOSH were developed here, and are now used worldwide.The Certified Hand Therapist evaluates and treats patients and communicates with physicians, family members/caregivers and other professionals involved in the management of care for those patients. This person maintains documentation on treatment provided in the medical chart and through written reports and participates in clinic meetings and in-services.Minimum Requirements: Current license as a Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with current Hand Certification required.Must have healthcare provider CPR within 30 days of starting and maintain CPR certification required. Must be well organized and independent in providing care to a busy caseload.Will be required to maintain Intermountain and mandatory requirements of position including mandatory modules, required classes, and employee health requirements. Preferred Requirements: Two years of hand therapy experience is preferred.
