Full-time Echocardiogram Technologist Opportunity Available with Beth Israel Medical Center´s Heart Institute!

Beth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattans Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel Medical Center is comprised of three facilities:Petrie Division: First Avenue at 16th Street in ManhattanPhillips Ambulatory Care Center: Union Square East in ManhattanKings Highway Division: in Brooklyn Beth Israel Medical Centers Heart Institute is seeking an Echocardiogram Technologist to contribute to the daily functions of the Echocardiogram Laboratory. The successful candidate will support this busy Echo Lab and will focus on 2D, M-Mode and Doppler Echocardiography with video and hard copy records and perform/record exercise and pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms and be responsible for all necessary paperwork and documentation for each patient. Minimum Requirements: - Associates Degree- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program for Cardiovascular Ultrasound- RCS/RDCS certification or eligibility required- BLS Certification- 3+ years experience in an Echocardiography Lab- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel- Excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service and organizational skillsAdditional Information:Extensive benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage; 403(b) retirement and tuition reimbursement programs and much, much more.Continuum Health Partners is committed to diversity and equal opportunity.

These newly created positions are designed to allow for stronger support in this busy Echo Lab and will focus on 2D, M-Mode and Doppler Echocardiography with video and hard copy records, performing/recording exercise and pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms and be responsible for all necessary paperwork and documentation for each patient.
