Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Physician Assistant.
The Adult Hematologic Malignancy Program Physician Assistant is responsible for assisting the Program attending physicians in the medical management of oncology and HSCT patients and patients admitted for elective chemotherapy. The PA has expert knowledge of hematology oncology including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Incorporating knowledge of general internal medicine and medical complications unique to hematology oncology and transplantation medicine will be emphasized. In addition, the PA works closely with the physician and nursing staff in developing and coordinating a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of patients and their families. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required. NCCPA certifiedb. Graduate of AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies Programc. License as a Physician Assistant in Massachusettsd. Maintain current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Licensese. Complete 100 hours of CME according to national and state regulations during each 2 year period of employment.
