Performs assessment by means of interview, psychometric testing, record review, etc in order to make appropriate interventions and recommendations.Provides group, individual and family therapy that addresses specific patient/family goals and facilitates the active patient participation in the therapeutic process.Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.Provides accurate written documentation which adheres to department policy notes and discharge summaries to ensure complete medical records for all treated patients.Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts to facilitate efficient and effective patient care using Telehealth systems when possible.Completes all administrative responsibilities.Independently and collaboratively manage the behavioral health care of patients and refer patients to appropriate providers for health care which fall outside their scope of practice.Adheres to the APAs Ethical Principles of Pyschologist´s and Code of Conduct.Must possess a PHD or PsyD from an APA internship.A Post Doctorate in Neuro Psychology preferred IAW American Psychological Associations standards for Neuro Psychology.Must have and maintain current, unrestricted license from a US state, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.Have at least three years experience, with at least 12 months in the past 24 months.
