Has the ability to scan, correlate, and clip study information. Facilitates all aspects of study completion and reporting. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Is knowledgeable in and carries out all applicable processes of the department. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as required. Participates in the Florida Hospital performance improvement program. Performs additional duties as requested. SHIFT: DayLOCATION: Orlando Campus KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:-BLS upon hire or within 90 days. CPR skills check biennially.-Knowledge of EEG procedures and equipment.-Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity.-Recognizes artifact and reapplies or replaces appropriate electrode(s).-Ability to scan, correlates, and clip studies.-Functions independently with little or no supervision.-Communicates effectively.-Possesses excellent customer service skills.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Minimum three years EEG experience or graduation from an EEG school.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:AA or AS degree or higherEEG experience on XLTEK or Nicolet equipment and softwareComputer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsSeizure monitoring experienceLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:ABRET RegistrationPREFERRED LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION:- Nerve conduction registration- Evoked potential registration
