To provide patient specific nutrition therapy. To evaluate patients outcome or response to nutrition therapy; making recommendations for changes as needed. To provide patient and family education on the patients nutrition therapy.ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:1. Education: Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD eligible by the American Dietetic Association or Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) by New York State. (Must pass RD exam, in no more than three attempts, within two years from hire date.)2. Experience: If RD or RD eligible--Zero to Six months experience If CDN--Two years healthcare nutrition experience3. Training: N/A4. Licensure: RD by American Dietetic Association or CDN by New York State
