Sleep Disorder Center Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner 2 (PSG) administers simple and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and recordings, which assist in the treatment and diagnosis of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients with sleep disorders (CPAP/BiLevel, O2 titration) and scores polysomnograms according to established protocol. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Associate Degree from a 2 year AMA Respiratory Therapy Program as specified by NBRC. One year of clinical experience in an American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) accredited Sleep Disorders Center preferred. Current RCP license and BLS required. If RRT ineligible, RPSGT certificate required within 18 months. If RRT eligible, RRT certificate required within 12 months or RPSGT certificate required within 18 months. Procession of both RRT and RPSGT certificate preferred. ACLS and PALS preferred.
