Outpatient Psychiatry and Behavioral Health
Provision of psychotherapy which includes triage, crisis intervention, evaluations/assessment, diagnosis, education, ongoing therapy, discharge of patients, and completion of all paperwork. Clinical services are provided to individuals, couples, families and groups. Must have a solid knowledge of DSM, psychological theory and application, ethics and standards. Some evening work and outreach may be expected.Education: Masters degree in social work required. License/Certification: Completion of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical work, defined under Wisconsin Admin Code (HFS 61.96) and eligible for State of Wisconsin licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).Experience: Experience working with patients of all age ranges that have a range of mental health problems and diagnoses. Experience completing thorough intake assessments and making diagnoses. Experience providing ongoing treatment which addresses problems. Experience with individual, couple, family, and group treatment.Exclusion from Federal Programs: Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.
