Mayo Clinic has a full-time opening for a Pathology Manager at the Phoenix location in the Laboratory Department. The selected candidate will supervise the delivery of quality anatomic pathology laboratory service to all Mayo Clinic Arizona patients. This individual will oversee the daily operation of the technical areas of cytology and histology and is responsible for the oversight of the pathology office. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the function of all aspects of the anatomic pathology paramedical service.Qualifications:*Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Science, Biology or related fieldRegistered with American Society of Clinical Pathologists, National Certifying Agency or equivalent*Masters Degree in Business, Management or Administration preferred*A minimum of three years pathology experience with progressively more responsible experience in supervision or leadership of laboratory operations required*Five or more years of lead or supervisory experience in laboratory operations preferred*Excellent communication, problem solving, decision making and leadership skillsAs an equal opportunity employer, we value diversity.
